The Year in review

Hi, my name is Mike I am a professional Computer Geek that works with homeowners and commerical customers to assist them with their computer needs. I have been working on computer for over 20 years I have seen a lot of changes with technology.

The year in review.

This year was like most: hardware failures, Windows corruptions issuese, and of courses viruses and Malware. I spend a lot of time helping people get rid of virus viruses their PCs.

I tend to see the majority of viruses on homeowners computers who have teenagers. I have teenagers as well but they have to be careful not to click on just anything that pops up. The most effective way to can prevent viruses on you PC, beyond not connecting to the Internet, a few simple things.

1. Good Antivirus software like avast.com (free homeowner edition)
Norton and Mcafee just don't do the job they used to do. They are expense and many viruses and malware attack them render them useless.

2. Have a good Anti Spyware tpe program like Superantispyware.com or Malware Bytes. Both of excellent tools for remove Malious ware.

3. Using the tools above to run scan of their PC on a regular basices help remove any of the junk they may be trying to make a home in your PC
